Overnight Oats with Berries

A simple, nutritious, and customizable breakfast option made with oats soaked overnight and topped with fresh berries.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (optional for creaminess)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a jar or container, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, honey (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Stir well until all ingredients are fully combined.
  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours.
  4. In the morning, stir the oats and top with fresh mixed berries.
  5. Enjoy chilled or let sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before eating.

Notes

  • Use frozen berries if fresh aren’t available.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste or skip the sweetener entirely.
  • Add nuts or seeds for extra crunch and nutrition.
  • Can be prepared up to 3 days in advance.
