- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or cream cheese
- 2 tbsp ube halaya (purple yam jam)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1–2 tsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice (optional)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional toppings: crushed graham crackers, coconut flakes, more ube halaya
- In a jar or bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt or cream cheese, ube halaya, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Mix well until fully combined and the mixture is smooth and evenly colored.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
- In the morning, give the oats a good stir. Add more milk if a thinner consistency is desired.
- Top with optional toppings like crushed graham crackers, coconut flakes, or extra ube halaya before serving.
Notes
- You can use plant-based yogurt and milk to make it vegan.
