Sweetened Condensed Milk Cookies are soft, chewy, and rich treats made with just a few basic ingredients. These cookies are perfect for quick baking and satisfying sweet cravings.

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, and place them on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  7. Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a glass or your fingers.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • You can add chocolate chips or sprinkles for extra flavor and texture.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
  • Do not overbake; they should remain soft in the center.
