Spooky Spider Web Brownies

Spooky Spider Web Brownies are a fun and festive Halloween treat made with rich, fudgy brownies decorated with a web of white chocolate or icing to resemble spider webs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on box: eggs, oil, water)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips or white icing
  • Optional: plastic spider rings or candy spiders for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven according to brownie mix instructions and prepare a baking pan with non-stick spray or parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the brownie batter according to the package instructions and pour it into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake the brownies as directed on the package. Let them cool completely in the pan.
  4. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals until smooth, or use white icing if preferred.
  5. Transfer melted white chocolate or icing to a piping bag or a zip-top bag with the corner snipped off.
  6. Draw concentric circles on the surface of the brownies. Using a toothpick, drag lines from the center to the edges to create a spider web pattern.
  7. Allow the decoration to set. Cut into squares and optionally top with candy or plastic spiders for a spooky effect.

Notes

  • Ensure brownies are fully cooled before decorating to prevent chocolate from melting.
  • You can use homemade brownie batter instead of boxed mix if preferred.
  • For extra flavor, add chocolate chips or nuts to the batter before baking.
