Shrimp Cocktail Shooters

Shrimp Cocktail Shooters are a fun and elegant appetizer served in shot glasses, featuring cooked shrimp and tangy cocktail sauce. Perfect for parties and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)
  • 1 cup cocktail sauce
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp prepared horseradish (optional, for extra heat)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill shot glasses or small cups in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cocktail sauce with lemon juice and horseradish if using.
  3. Spoon about 1 to 2 tablespoons of cocktail sauce mixture into each shot glass.
  4. Place one shrimp on the rim or into each glass, tail-up for presentation.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and a small lemon wedge if desired.
  6. Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked shrimp to save time.
  • Adjust horseradish quantity to control the heat level.
  • For an extra twist, add a splash of vodka to each shooter.
