Ravenclaw Midnight Blueberry Cheesecake

A magical and indulgent blueberry cheesecake inspired by Ravenclaw House, featuring a midnight-blue hue and a rich, creamy texture atop a classic graham cracker crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup blueberry puree
  • Blue food coloring (optional, for midnight hue)
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries (for topping)
  • Edible silver glitter or stars (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and mix until combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and sour cream.
  5. Add blueberry puree and a few drops of blue food coloring, mixing until the batter reaches a rich, midnight-blue color.
  6. Pour the batter over the crust in the pan. Bake for 55–65 minutes or until the center is almost set.
  7. Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Before serving, top with fresh blueberries and sprinkle with edible silver glitter or stars if desired.

Notes

  • Use a water bath to prevent cracks in the cheesecake.
  • For a deeper color, use gel-based food coloring.
  • Blueberry puree can be made by blending fresh or thawed frozen blueberries.
