A warm and cozy Pumpkin Spice Latte made with real pumpkin, fall spices, espresso, and milk. Perfect for chilly days and full of comforting flavors.

  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus more for serving
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1/2 cup strong coffee or 12 shots of espresso
  • Whipped cream, for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and sugar. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant and well combined.
  2. Whisk in the milk and vanilla extract. Heat until hot but do not boil.
  3. Remove from heat and use a whisk or milk frother to froth the mixture if desired.
  4. Pour the hot coffee or espresso into a mug and add the pumpkin milk mixture on top.
  5. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can use dairy or plant-based milk such as almond, oat, or soy.
  • Adjust sugar to taste or use a sugar substitute for a lower-calorie version.
  • Make your own pumpkin pie spice by mixing cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
