- 1 ball of pizza dough (about 12-inch)
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4–6 slices prosciutto
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup fresh arugula (for topping)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle. Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza peel if using a stone.
- Brush the dough lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
- Add slices of prosciutto evenly over the cheese layer.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
- Remove from oven and top with fresh arugula and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a crispier crust, pre-bake the dough for 2–3 minutes before adding toppings.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving for extra flavor.
- Use high-quality prosciutto for best results.
