Prosciutto Ricotta Pizza

A deliciously savory pizza topped with creamy ricotta, salty prosciutto, and a touch of arugula for freshness—perfect for a gourmet twist on pizza night.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ball of pizza dough (about 12-inch)
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 46 slices prosciutto
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup fresh arugula (for topping)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle. Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza peel if using a stone.
  3. Brush the dough lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
  5. Add slices of prosciutto evenly over the cheese layer.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  7. Remove from oven and top with fresh arugula and red pepper flakes if desired.
  8. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a crispier crust, pre-bake the dough for 2–3 minutes before adding toppings.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving for extra flavor.
  • Use high-quality prosciutto for best results.
