PIZZA CUPCAKES

Pizza Cupcakes are a fun, bite-sized twist on classic pizza, combining pizza dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings in a muffin tin for an easy-to-eat, kid-friendly snack or party appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni or diced regular pepperoni
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a 12-cup muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Unroll pizza dough and cut into 12 equal squares.
  3. Press each dough square into the bottom and up the sides of each muffin cup.
  4. Spoon about 2 teaspoons of pizza sauce into each dough cup.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly into each cup, then top with pepperoni pieces.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before removing. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Customize with your favorite toppings like olives, mushrooms, or sausage.
  • For a crispier crust, pre-bake the dough cups for 3 minutes before adding fillings.
  • Great for meal prep—store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the oven or microwave.
