Pineapple Ginger Juice

A refreshing and zesty homemade juice made with fresh pineapple and ginger, perfect for a tropical boost and digestive aid.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium pineapple, peeled and chopped
  • 12 inches fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped
  • 23 cups cold water
  • 12 tablespoons honey or sugar (optional)
  • Juice of 1 lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the chopped pineapple and ginger to a blender.
  2. Pour in 2-3 cups of cold water to help blend smoothly.
  3. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a large bowl or pitcher.
  5. Add honey or sugar and lemon juice if using, then stir well to combine.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator or serve immediately over ice.

Notes

  • Adjust ginger amount to your spice preference.
  • For a thinner juice, add more water when blending.
  • Lemon juice enhances flavor and preserves freshness.
  • Best consumed fresh, but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
