  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies (like candy canes)
  • Optional: extra crushed peppermint for topping

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
  3. Stir continuously until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract and crushed peppermint candies.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle additional crushed peppermint on top if desired and gently press into the fudge.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  8. Lift the fudge out of the pan using the overhang and cut into squares.
