Oreo Truffles

Oreo Truffles are a no-bake dessert made with crushed Oreo cookies, cream cheese, and a chocolate coating. These bite-sized treats are rich, creamy, and perfect for parties or gifting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz (340g) semisweet or white chocolate, melted
  • Optional: Sprinkles or crushed Oreos for topping

Instructions

  1. Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese. Mix until fully blended into a dough-like consistency.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Freeze the balls for about 15-20 minutes to firm them up.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, coating completely. Use a fork to lift and let excess chocolate drip off.
  7. Place the coated truffles back on the parchment paper and add toppings if desired.
  8. Refrigerate until the chocolate is set, about 30 minutes.

Notes

  • Use a fork or dipping tool for smoother chocolate coating.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  • You can use flavored Oreos for variety.
  • White chocolate or dark chocolate can be used based on preference.
