Orange Blossom Iced Tea

A refreshing, lightly sweetened iced tea scented with delicate orange blossom water and brightened with fresh orange juice—perfect for warm weather sipping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (960 ml) water
  • 4 black tea bags (orange pekoe or similar)
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) honey — or granulated sugar for a vegan option
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) freshly squeezed orange juice (about 2 oranges)
  • 1 Tbsp orange blossom water
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced into rounds
  • Ice cubes, for serving
  • Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil, then remove from heat.
  2. Add the tea bags, cover, and steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Discard tea bags and stir in the honey until fully dissolved.
  4. Mix in the orange juice and orange blossom water. Let the tea cool to room temperature.
  5. Transfer to a pitcher, add the orange slices, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill and develop flavor.
  6. Serve over plenty of ice, garnished with mint sprigs if desired.

Notes

  • Sweep sweetness up or down by adjusting the honey.
  • Green tea can replace black tea for a lighter taste.
  • Add an extra ½ Tbsp orange blossom water for a stronger floral note.
  • Tea will keep, covered and refrigerated, for up to 3 days.
