- 1 box cake mix (any flavor), prepared and cooled

- 1/2 cup frosting (any flavor)

- 1 package white candy melts

- 1/2 cup red candy melts

- 1/4 cup black candy melts

- Eyeball candy decorations or colored candy for pupils

- 24 lollipop sticks

- Styrofoam block or cake pop stand (for drying)

- Prepare and bake the cake according to package instructions. Let it cool completely.

- Crumble the cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.

- Add frosting and mix until the texture resembles dough.

- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill for 1 hour.

- Melt the white candy melts according to package directions.

- Dip the tip of each lollipop stick into the melted candy, then insert it halfway into a cake ball.

- Dip each cake pop into the white candy melts, coating completely. Tap gently to remove excess.

- While the coating is still wet, press an eyeball candy or colored candy in the center to form the pupil.

- Place the cake pops in a Styrofoam block or cake pop stand to dry completely.

- Melt the red candy melts and use a toothpick to draw squiggly lines to mimic bloodshot eyes.

- Melt the black candy melts and add details like pupils or outlines if desired.

- Let all decorations set before serving or packaging.

		Notes

- You can use homemade cake and frosting if preferred.

- Chilling the cake balls helps prevent them from falling off the sticks when dipping.

- Use gel food coloring if you want custom eye colors.
