Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup hot water

  • 2 tbsp honey or sugar (to sweeten the matcha)
  • 1 package ladyfinger biscuits (about 24 pieces)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and sugar until stiff peaks form.

  4. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the matcha mixture (do not soak), then arrange a layer in a dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Before serving, dust the top with additional matcha powder.

Notes

  • Use high-quality ceremonial grade matcha for best flavor and color.
  • Adjust matcha sweetness to your taste.
  • Tiramisu is best made a day ahead to allow flavors to meld.
