Matcha Iced Latte

A refreshing and creamy iced latte made with matcha green tea powder, milk, and a touch of sweetness. Perfect for a cool energy boost.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 12 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk matcha powder with hot water until smooth and frothy.
  2. Add honey or maple syrup to the matcha mixture and stir until dissolved.
  3. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the milk over the ice.
  5. Slowly pour the matcha mixture over the milk to create a layered effect.
  6. Stir before drinking, if desired.

Notes

  • Use a bamboo whisk (chasen) for a smoother matcha blend.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste or skip sweetener for a more traditional flavor.
