Maggi Biryani Noodles

A quick and flavorful fusion dish that combines the classic taste of Maggi noodles with aromatic biryani spices, creating a spicy and satisfying one-pot meal.

  • 2 packs Maggi noodles with tastemaker
  • 1 tbsp oil or ghee
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1 green chili, slit
  • 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (carrot, peas, beans, capsicum)
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp biryani masala
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 2 cups water
  • Fresh coriander and mint leaves, chopped
  • Fried onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil or ghee in a pan and sauté sliced onions until golden brown.
  2. Add tomatoes and green chili, cook until tomatoes soften.
  3. Stir in turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, and biryani masala, and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add mixed vegetables and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Mix in yogurt and cook until the masala is well blended.
  6. Pour in water, bring it to a boil, and add Maggi tastemaker masala.
  7. Break Maggi noodles into halves and add to the boiling mixture.
  8. Cook covered for 2-3 minutes until noodles are done and water is absorbed.
  9. Garnish with chopped coriander, mint leaves, and fried onions before serving.

Notes

  • You can add paneer, chicken, or boiled eggs for a protein-rich version.
  • Adjust spice level as per preference.
  • Serve hot with raita or salad for a complete meal.
