Lemon Cucumber Sparkling Water

A crisp, bubbly refresher that infuses sparkling water with bright lemon and cooling cucumber—perfect for hydrating on hot days without added sugars or calories.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (480 ml) chilled plain sparkling water
  • ½ medium lemon, thinly sliced
  • ¼ medium English cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: 4–6 fresh mint leaves for extra aroma

Instructions

  1. Fill two 12-oz (350 ml) glasses halfway with ice cubes.
  2. Layer lemon and cucumber slices evenly between the glasses (reserve a slice of each for garnish if desired).
  3. Pour the sparkling water over the ice and produce.
  4. Stir gently with a long spoon to mingle flavors without flattening the bubbles.
  5. Garnish with the reserved lemon, cucumber, and mint leaves. Serve immediately while effervescent.

Notes

  • Swap plain sparkling water for lemon-flavored or cucumber-flavored seltzer to intensify taste.
  • Let the drink sit 2–3 minutes before serving if you prefer a stronger infusion.
  • Add a splash of elderflower cordial or simple syrup for sweetness (will raise calories).
