Layered Taco Dip

A crowd-pleasing layered taco dip made with seasoned refried beans, creamy sour cream, guacamole, salsa, cheese, and fresh toppings. Perfect for parties, game days, or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the refried beans with taco seasoning until well combined.
  2. Spread the seasoned beans evenly on the bottom of a serving dish.
  3. Layer the sour cream evenly on top of the beans.
  4. Add a layer of guacamole, spreading gently.
  5. Spread salsa evenly over the guacamole.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the salsa.
  7. Add a layer of shredded lettuce.
  8. Top with diced tomatoes, black olives, and green onions.
  9. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve with tortilla chips.

Notes

  • You can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a lighter version.
  • Make it ahead of time and refrigerate until serving.
  • Customize toppings with jalapeños, corn, or different cheeses.
