Korean Strawberry Milk

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan or bowl, combine the chopped strawberries and sugar. Let sit for 10–15 minutes to macerate, or simmer on low heat for 5 minutes until syrupy if desired.
  2. Optional: Add lemon juice to enhance the strawberry flavor.
  3. Use a fork or blender to mash the strawberries into a chunky or smooth purée, based on your preference.
  4. Spoon the strawberry mixture into a glass.
  5. Pour cold milk over the strawberries.
  6. Stir gently to combine or leave layered for aesthetic presentation.
  7. Serve immediately with or without ice cubes.
