Easy Baked Honey Dijon Chicken

A simple and flavorful baked chicken dish featuring a sweet and tangy honey Dijon glaze. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, and minced garlic until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a greased baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the honey Dijon mixture over the chicken, coating it evenly.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and is cooked through.
  6. Optionally, broil for 2–3 minutes for a more caramelized finish.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

  • You can marinate the chicken in the sauce for extra flavor.
  • Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
