- 1 box (15.25 oz) cake mix (any flavor, such as lemon, strawberry, or chocolate)
- 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, Cool Whip, and egg until well combined. The dough will be sticky.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough and roll into balls.
- Roll each ball in powdered sugar to coat.
- Place the coated dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the cookies are set and the edges are slightly golden.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- You can use any flavor of cake mix for different variations.
- Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes if too sticky to handle.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
