Cinnamon Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips

Cinnamon Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips are a healthy, crispy, and sweet snack made from ripe bananas, lightly coated in cinnamon and sugar, then air-fried to perfection with minimal oil.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe but firm bananas
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)
  • 1 tsp olive oil or avocado oil

Instructions

  1. Peel and thinly slice bananas into even rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar together.
  3. Toss banana slices with oil to coat lightly.
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the banana slices and gently toss again to evenly coat.
  5. Arrange slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overlap.
  6. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crisp and golden. Watch closely to prevent burning.
  7. Let cool completely—they will crisp up further as they cool.

Notes

  • Use bananas that are ripe but still firm for best texture.
  • Adjust sugar and cinnamon to taste or use a sugar substitute for a lower-carb option.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
