- 1 lb fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella into 1/4-inch thick slices.
- On a large serving platter, alternate and overlap slices of tomato and mozzarella.
- Tuck whole basil leaves between the tomato and mozzarella slices.
- Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the salad.
