  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 12 tbsp cold water
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • Fresh berries (e.g., raspberries, blueberries, sliced strawberries)
  • Edible flowers or butterfly-shaped candies for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a food processor, blend flour, powdered sugar, and butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add egg yolk and water gradually until dough forms.
  4. Press dough into mini tartlet pans and prick the bottom with a fork.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool completely.
  6. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  7. Fold in whipped cream to create a light filling.
  8. Spoon filling into cooled tart shells.
  9. Top with fresh berries and decorate with edible flowers or butterfly candies.
  10. Chill tartlets in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • You can prepare the tart shells a day in advance and store them in an airtight container.
  • Use any combination of seasonal fruits for topping.
  • Chilling the tartlets helps the filling set for a cleaner presentation.
