Avocado Mango Salad

A refreshing and vibrant Avocado Mango Salad combining creamy avocado, juicy mango, crisp vegetables, and a zesty lime dressing. Perfect as a light appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados, diced
  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño, finely chopped (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine diced avocados, mangoes, red onion, red bell pepper, cilantro, and jalapeño if using.
  2. Drizzle with lime juice and olive oil.
  3. Gently toss the ingredients to mix without mashing the avocados.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm avocados and mangoes to prevent the salad from getting mushy.
  • You can add a handful of arugula or baby spinach for a leafy twist.
  • Best served fresh, but can be refrigerated for up to 4 hours.
